Install from the provided link

Use the Android link provided by 10k. The current website link opens Google Play internal testing, so access may depend on test eligibility.

Follow Google Play’s instructions, then sign in to your 10k account.

Keep local work safe

The Android app keeps offline data in native storage. Let pending changes sync before clearing app data, uninstalling or moving to another device.

Use a working passkey, chat recovery code or another unlocked device to open encrypted chats after installing on a new device.

Permissions and updates

Manage notification permission in Android settings. Browser notification permission applies to the PWA, not the native Android app.

Install updates offered through Google Play or 10k’s supported update flow. Some 10k Dev builds can receive signed app-code updates directly from 10k.

Use the browser version

You can also use 10k in a supported browser or install its PWA. A PWA installation and the Android app have separate local storage, even when you sign in to the same account.
