Community Guidelines

What’s allowed in clubs, messages and profiles, and what we remove.

Respect and safety

  • Be respectful when posting, messaging, joining clubs, commenting, or interacting with other users.
  • Do not target people with harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, threats, self-harm encouragement, or unwanted sexual content.
  • Do not share private information, intimate content, account data, or location-sensitive information about another person without permission.

Child sexual abuse and exploitation

10k has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to every 10k surface, including profiles, posts, comments, clubs, messages, images, files, and links.

10k promptly restricts access to suspected violating content, removes content that violates these standards, restricts or terminates responsible accounts, preserves required records securely, and reports confirmed CSAM or other child endangerment to appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.

  • Do not create, upload, request, solicit, share, distribute, promote, facilitate, or otherwise provide access to real or generated CSAM.
  • Do not groom, sexually solicit, sextort, traffic, sexually exploit, or sexualize a minor, or use 10k for predatory sexual contact involving a minor.
  • Report suspected CSAE or CSAM through the in-app report controls or Support > Safety. If a child may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement.
  • Do not download, save, screenshot, email, forward, or otherwise redistribute suspected CSAM. Submit the content link or identifier instead.

Sexual nudity and explicit visual content

Sexualized nudity and explicit visual sexual content are prohibited on every 10k surface, including profiles, posts, comments, clubs, messages, images, videos, files, illustrations, generated media, and links.

  • Do not create, upload, send, share, link to, or otherwise provide access to visual content that depicts sexualized nudity, a sexualized focus on intimate body parts, or explicit sexual acts. This applies to real, staged, illustrated, animated, and AI-generated content.
  • Nonsexual nudity is not prohibited by this rule, but content may still violate child-safety, consent, privacy, exploitation, harassment, or applicable-law requirements.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual coercion, and sexual exploitation are prohibited regardless of whether nudity is visible.

Graphic violence on public surfaces

Graphic violence is prohibited on public 10k surfaces, including public profiles and avatars, public feed posts and comments, public clubs and their avatars or banners, thumbnails, media, files, and linked previews.

  • Do not publicly share graphic depictions of gore, severe injury, mutilation or dismemberment, exposed organs, severely injured human remains, or severe violence toward people or animals. This applies to real, staged, fictional, illustrated, animated, game, and generated content.
  • A public feed post or linked source may include such material only when the surrounding content establishes a legitimate news, documentary, educational, scientific, or historical public-interest purpose. The depiction must be necessary, non-gratuitous, and presented with enough context.
  • The exception does not cover content posted for shock value, entertainment through suffering, celebration or glorification of violence, or exploitation of victims. Standalone profile images, avatars, club avatars, and banners cannot qualify because they cannot provide sufficient context.
  • Non-graphic fictional violence is not prohibited by this rule. Violent threats, coordination of violence, and content encouraging serious harm remain prohibited under the other guidelines.

Authenticity

  • Do not impersonate people, organizations, staff, moderators, or support agents.
  • Do not misrepresent identity, achievements, activity data, subscription status, or affiliation in a way that deceives others.
  • Do not automate spam, engagement manipulation, reports, messages, or club activity.

Illegal or harmful content

  • Do not use 10k to coordinate violence, exploitation, fraud, malware, illegal sales, or other unlawful activity.
  • Do not encourage serious self-harm, eating-disorder behavior, dangerous challenges, or targeted abuse.
  • Do not post content that infringes intellectual property or violates confidentiality obligations.

Reports and enforcement

Users can report content or behavior that appears to violate these guidelines. Child-safety reports receive urgent handling. Reports are reviewed with context, severity, user age, public visibility, and repeat behavior in mind.

Enforcement can include content removal, visibility limits, warnings, temporary restrictions, suspension, permanent account closure, or referral to a provider or legal authority.

Appeals

If you believe a moderation action was wrong, submit an appeal with the relevant ticket ID, account email, content link or identifier, and explanation.
