How sync settles changes

Merged changes, Needs review, retry and discard.

How changes settle

10k sends local changes to the server when you reconnect. Some changes are merged; overlapping or invalid changes may be rejected, and timers may be adjusted to avoid double counting.

Read any notice, then check Settings → Sync & data → Needs review. Notices explain the reason for a rejected change.

Retry a change when offered, or discard it to keep the saved account version. Discarding may also remove later changes that depend on it.

If data looks unexpected

  1. Bring your devices online.
  2. Open Settings → Sync & data and choose Sync now.
  3. Review any remaining changes under Needs review.
  4. Check the affected calendar day or dashboard widget.
  5. Contact support if a change keeps failing. Keep local data until the issue is understood.
