Privacy and safety
Choose who can see your profile and message you, keep optional analytics off, and block or report anyone.
Who can see you
These settings are in Settings, under Privacy:
- Account visibility Public or Private. A private profile shows its details only to friends.
- Show online status turn it off to appear offline.
- Message requests choose whether people who are not your friends can send you one.
Optional data
Product analytics and other optional measurement stay off until you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time. Approximate location is optional too. If you turn it on, 10k uses a rough area of about 36 km² only to suggest friends and clubs near you.
Block and report
Block someone from their profile or in Settings, under Blocked Users. Blocking removes the friendship and any pending requests, and hides your messages and online status from each other.
Report people and clubs for spam, harassment, hate speech, violence, false information or other problems. Reports go to the 10k team for review.
