Manual time entries

Add sessions you forgot to time, and fix the start or end of any session you tracked.

Add a session you forgot to time

Press Add Time on the dashboard, enter how long you practiced and when the session started or ended. The session is saved on the day it happened, so your daily totals, streak and heatmap stay correct.

Add Time is unavailable while the activity is running. Stop its timer first, then add the missing session.

Change a session

Open a session from the Calendar or a Timeline widget to edit it. On the Timeline you can also drag either edge of a session to change its start or end, or use its menu to duplicate or delete it. A running session cannot be edited until you stop it.

When sessions overlap

If a new or edited session overlaps another one, 10k asks what to do instead of counting the same time twice.

  • Same activity keep the total time by extending the session, merge the two entries, or keep the new position.
  • Different activity replace the existing session, trim it, or split your edit around it.
  • Keep both with Track several activities at once on, sessions of different activities can sit side by side. Always keep both and don't ask again saves them without asking; Ask when sessions overlap in Settings brings the question back.
  • Running timer Keep both works while another activity's timer runs. To replace or trim a running session, stop its timer first.
