Connected activities

Connect with a friend

Open an activity, choose Manage People and pick a friend. They choose which of their activities to connect with yours, for example your Piano with their Guitar. If you are not friends yet, Add & connect sends a friend request and the connection together.

Where their time shows up

Once connected, you can add your friend to these widgets and views:

• Time Graph, Bar Chart and Timeline compare your time with theirs, day by day or all time.
• Time Distribution see their share next to yours.
• Leaderboard rank everyone you are connected with on the activity.
• Calendar use Filter friends to see their sessions next to yours.

Alerts, and what stays private

For each connection you can get notified when your friend starts or stops tracking, and when they overtake you. Their sessions are read-only for you, and yours are read-only for them. Disconnecting stops the comparison on that activity.

Questions and answers

Does a friend see all my activities' sessions?

No. A connection shares the sessions of the activity you connected, not your other activities.

What happens when we disconnect?

Your widgets stop showing each other's time for that activity. No sessions are deleted.
